Top 14 Matcha Powders in 2022

Top 14 Matcha Powders in 2022
Posted on February 21, 2022 by Joana

The main focus of this article will be matcha, whether you are already a fan or you are just starting out, this will hopefully help you in finding the best matcha powder for you.

We will be comparing using the 7 main criteria of matcha:

  1. Origin
  2. Taste
  3. Color
  4. Grind
  5. Packaging
  6. Tasting notes
  7. Where it’s sold

I started drinking matcha about 2 years ago and I have not looked back. I really feel that for me it was the right decision to stop drinking coffee mostly due to “the crash”. It would hit me so hard that I ultimately stopped enjoying my coffee. I would have such a high, then less than an hour later… boom! With matcha, there is none of that and also no jitters.

Matcha is packed with vitamins and antioxidants that help reduce cell damage and prevent chronic diseases. Due to the L-theanine which is an amino acid found in matcha, stress levels will also become lower and more manageable.

Our experts had a really fun time testing these out because there are numerous companies that are actually really good and meet almost all of our criteria. Let's get started!

*We are using the number system to grade; 5 being the highest and 1 lowest.

1. Miaroo Matcha

Our matcha of choice, hands down. What we love about this company is that it is organic and vegan friendly. This company knows how to produce matcha. Vanilla matcha latte, low-cal chai latte, collagen infused matcha, and lemon raspberry flavor. (All yummy btw).
